Otavalo Market

On Saturdays, Ecuador's best known craft market also becomes the largest such market in South America.  Multi-coloured fabrics, hand made jewelry, local art and much more greet visitors.  Artisans living in small surrounding villages such as neighboring Ilumàn, have made the journey to this market in the “Plaza del Ponchos” since before the Incas.

Esthela at the market

We have been selling our work at this market for 15 years.  We run a jewelery business from the basement of El Rancho.  Esthela’s designs which use tagua (vegetable ivory) are popular and original.

The hand woven traditional wool rugs and wall hangings are by Esthela's father, who also makes bags.  He too sells his work on Otavalo market.

If you would like to know more about our products, or to place an order, please contact us.  We make jewelery to order, and can make any of the styles below in any of the colours you can see.  We are happy to take large or small orders, which can be posted anywhere in the world.
